My Personal Tips To Manage Mental Health and Well-being

I would like to share a few tips with you that I have found to be amazingly beneficial to manage my mental health and well-being. We all experience stress from time to time, it is important to recognise it and know how to cope once it arises.

I am a licensed FBO Forever Living Business owner which enables me to promote, recommend and make affiliate commission from any of the products purchased through my Forever Living online store. This Is How I Manage Mental Health and Well-being

Time In Nature

I love spending time in nature, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. All seasons bring their own beauty, I love soaking in the atmosphere and listening to nature, birds, the wind, watching sunrise or sunsets, witnessing the movement of the waves, soaking in the calm of a forest walk. I cannot but marvel at the beauty and the calming effect of spending time in nature. As a child growing up on a farm I used to love walking in the fields with my bare feet, now living in the city whenever I want to feel grounded I stand barefoot in the grass and do several deep breathing routines.

Time With Friends (Community)

My friends are so precious to me and I’m so blessed to have my besties. I have loved meeting up with a few friends over the past 18 months, socialising has been different, and in some cases, it’s been a zoom call or grabbing a take out coffee and having a chat sitting on a wall. We organised picnics in our local parks, it’s always a super experience.

Time To Read and Meditate

I love reading and in times of stress, I feel that I am drawn to books that I’ll enjoy and come away with something from. Personally, I like Gabrielle Bernstein as a writer and her book ‘The Universe Has Your Back’ and ‘Super Attractor’ along with this very old book – ‘Bring Out The Magic In Your Mind’ by Al Koran. Another book that also inspires me is ‘Make Changes not excuses’ by Molly Harvey I find her practical advice really helpful in times of stress. While reading I would come across a quote that would inspire me, I would read it and write it into my journal, then meditate.

“Sometimes in life our ‘Stop Doing’ list needs priority over our ‘To Do’ list.”

Molly Harvey
