Intention Setting – Motivation To Achieve Your Purpose

Intention Setting - Motivation To Achieve Your Purpose

It’s a bright sunny September morning, with the sun streaming in through my French doors. The wasps are flying around coming into the kitchen and off out again, they seem to be in a hurry; now I know they have flown towards the raspberry stalks. Having being stung many years ago, I am wary of them, it’s a pain I have not forgotten, thankfully, the last wasp that flew near me found something else to interest him and is gone, so now I can get to sharing my intention settings.

I am a licensed FBO Forever Living Business owner which enables me to promote, recommend and make affiliate commission from any of the products purchased through my Forever Living online store. Intention Setting – The Ideal Time

September, for me, is an ideal month to do my intention setting. I always, even as a child, used to daydream – little did I know I was setting my personal goals and living them. When I attended school it was a time that I would have made promises to myself about working a lot more diligently in the upcoming academic year, September would always start the countdown of preparing for upcoming exams. That’s not to say that I stuck to my good intention, often I had to adjust my plans and cram everything in last minute.

Motivation And Focus

“Setting and living your intentions allows you to focus on who are in the moment, to recognize and live your values, and to raise your emotional energy – which in turn raises your physical energy. Intentions give you purpose as well as the inspiration and motivation to achieve your purpose”.

Intention Setting – Using your inspiration and motivation to achieve your goal – whatever it may be. My son, Dara, one of my biggest motivators in life – The Giants Causeway, Ireland.

As time has moved on I have gotten better with intention setting. I regularly do it with my Forever Living team, as I find it motivates people – as business owners they may like to move up the marketing ladder and I help them to do that by chatting with them about what they would do if they were earning an extra €150+ a month. Maybe they want to put it towards a holiday, a new pair of shoes, a handbag, or an item for their home. We create a vision board with pictures of what they would like and I advise them to place the item in a few places throughout their home so that it serves as a constant reminder of their goal. They develop an attachment, and it helps them to achieve their goal and reward themselves.

Personally, I feel it’s important to have a date set to get to the intention, now that date may come and go, and you are still awaiting your intention, however, I do feel when the time is right you will get it – if it’s for you.

My Personal Intention For The Next Few Months

Intention Setting – My personal goal for the next few months

My intention for the next few months is to get myself an Apple Watch Series 5 GPS 44/ Gold Aluminium case with a leather strap. I aim to get it from the additional income that I will create within my Forever Living Business as a Christmas Present to myself. I am sharing this with you not to impress you, it’s a reminder for me as to why I do what I do, it gives me an extra income and allows me to help others achieve what they want too.

“When you feel like quitting, think about why you started”

I feel that this year more than ever, being as strange as it’s been, it is even more important to be setting and focusing on personal goals – tell me in the comments, what are those goals for you?
